Antique Victorian gold mesh slide cameo bracelet. This circa 1880 slide bracelet is accented with a cameo of a woman, and ends in foxtail chain tassels. Mesh is 5/16ths inch wide and tests as 12kt gold. The cameo setting tests for 10kt gold, and features engraving. The four tassels have been replaced, and are now vermeil, (gold wash over sterling silver). When pushing the tassel to the side, the bracelet offers a generous 8.5 inches to slip over the hand, then the slide makes it smaller and secure. In good antique condition. 13.78 grams.
